Cons:
buffet food was unediable...staff was very unfriendly and way too many kids
we booked this cruise for our 5th wedding anniversary and it was the worst experience of our life..buffet food was cold and unediable...staff was rude and unfriendly, including the dining staff...the only person that was friendly was the girl who made up our room everyday...too many kids...parents did not watch them...running around everywhere...had to watch your step when getting in the elevator as there was always ice cream on the floor

Fun for Family with kids by
Art M from Florida
Sailing date: Jun 2009 Pros:
Really good programs for children 12-16
Cons:
Not a real high focus on service
Great ship. Nice, new and clean.
Carnaval really caters to Family looking for a great Cruise with Teenagers. The kids get opportunities to group up and make friends on the boat. Gives Mom and Dad some Parent time, but you also get plenty of time to do family activites.
A real fun cruise that seems to focus on Activites more than service.

George Town, Grand Cayman Probably the best shopping.
Don't Miss: Must dive here if certified
Grand Turk Island I would just enjoy the beach. Carnaval has purchase a huge beach and a huge pool all for free. No need for excursions here. You can snorkle right off the beach and have a great day.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica Must do the falls. Unbelievably fun and beautiful.

Great Get Away Cheap Week by
Barbie M from Savannah GA
Sailing date: Apr 2009 Pros:
Empolyees and the decoration of the ship
Cons:
The dining room was not up to par.
The quality and selection of food was down compared to 5 past cruises on Carnival. The dining room just lacked attention. Even the table clothes were not ironed ! Very dissappointed in room service selections. Salads only ! unless you ordered breakfast Guests were very casual with their attire in dinning room. Apparently on this ship anything goes.
Ship Quality Always working on ship. Only problem one day they painted our balcony . Couldn't stay in state room.
Dining/Food Economic slow down noticed in dining room. Not many selections. Food ok
Always asked for early dining on other cruises no problem. No help at all in changing this cruise seating time.
Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality Very friendly. Mostly from the Phillipines.
Entertainment & Activities Only one show per night. 10:30 !!

the best vacation ever by
A Traveler from St. Louis, Mo
Sailing date: Jul 2008 Pros:
the staff on board the ship was helpful and friendly
Cons:
the kids activities were well planned, but no one was there to execute them.
We had a great cruise- we enjoyed the ports and activities available on shore.
Ship Quality The ship was well run and orderly, there were many public places for small and large groups
Dining/Food The dining room food was very good
Stateroom Quality our balcony room was relatively spacious and comfortable, the kids had the interior stateroom across the hall which was somewhat smaller, but comfortable with a bunk bed
Ship Staff Quality We had the best wait staff in the dining room-friendly, efficient, and willing to talk to us about our trip.
Entertainment & Activities The entertainment was good, I would have liked to see less "R" rated shows, and more family oriented shows
Children's Programs the kids activity schedule was great, however they were not run as well as they were planned according to my 13 year olds and 16 year old
Collapse List of Ports
Belize City, Belize we took a cave tubing tour which I found on the internet- it was a great activity. The ship also offered the cave tubing activity with another excursion company
Cozumel, Mexico we took a trip to the Isla Passion on a speed boat and spent the day in the ocean under beautiful palm trees
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island This would be my least favorite port- we were quite a distance from the town. The merchants were selling t shirts and straw hats and bags-many of them. We took a glass bottom boat tour and saw many tropical fish and sharks
Roatan (Isla Roatan), Bay Islands, Honduras they are constructing a beautiful new port for the town, it will be lovely when it is finished. The people of Roatan were very friendly and anxious to sell their hand made crafts.
Don't Miss: we loved the snorkling

AWFUL!!! 1st cruise by
A Traveler from MONTGOMERY,AL
Sailing date: Feb 2008 Pros:
THE PORTS
Cons:
EVERYTHING
My boyfriend and I went on this cruise may of 06 6nights- 7days. It started off bad. They messed our cabin up by giving us a one twin bed. We complained about it and were told that we would be giving another bed. The 2nd day we were still waiting on the bed. Now they tell us that we couldnt have another bed in there because of a fire hazard. We all know that two adults cant sleep in a single twin bed. It was very uncomfortable. We had back pain and etc. Our floor was vacuum once the whole time we were there. I was ready to go home by the 3rd day. Needless to say we paid to much money to end up with a twin bed. No one tried to make it up. We werent compensated for anything. Im not sure if I would go on another one.
Dining/Food IT GIVES U GAS. I HEARD THAT FROM OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL ON THE SHIP.
Ship Staff Quality NOT HELPFUL
Entertainment & Activities DIDN'T REALLY CARE FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT

Carnival Glory by
A Traveler from Denver, CO
Sailing date: Jun 2008 Pros:
ports of call
Cons:
entertainment, food, last night of crusie
ship glory entertainment to loud because of poor singers. Food was tasting all the same. Last night of curise two males were missing and announcements made every 45 to 60 minutes in cabins from 2:30 AM until 5 AM. Turned out teenager brothers stoled liquor, got drunk and passed out hiding in life boat.
Ship Quality
Dining/Food on board liquor was overpriced.
Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & Activities port excursions were overpriced
